1. Who we are
This policy applies to BrokerAccord.com, a service operated by Sitetrail LLC. References to “BrokerAccord,” “we,” “us” or “our” mean Sitetrail LLC in connection with BrokerAccord.com.
2. Information you provide
We may collect contact details, company information, acquisition criteria, funding and experience information, seller and ownership details, financial and operating information, analytics identifiers, transaction preferences, NDA confirmations, messages, and files or evidence you choose to submit. Sellers may either authorize a read-only Google connection or upload downloaded reports manually.
3. Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Google Analytics loads when a page is visited and may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, traffic source and on-site interactions. We do not intentionally send form contents, names or email addresses to Google Analytics.
4. Seller-authorized Google data
If a seller chooses to connect Google, BrokerAccord requests read-only access to Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. We use that access only to list properties the seller can access and to obtain a limited verification snapshot for the properties the seller selects, including aggregate traffic, engagement and organic-search performance for stated periods. We do not use this seller-authorized data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not place it in a public listing. Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest. A seller may disconnect Google at any time; they may also revoke access in their Google Account. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries; assess buyer and seller fit; review, value and prepare businesses; verify seller-supplied claims; manage confidentiality, diligence and transaction workflows; maintain records; prevent abuse; operate and improve the website; and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
6. When information is shared
We may share information with service providers that support hosting, storage, email, analytics and security; with professional advisers; or with qualified transaction participants where the relevant process and confidentiality arrangements permit it. Seller identities, source documents and sensitive evidence are not placed in public listings.
7. Storage and retention
The website is hosted using Cloudflare services, including database and private file storage. Temporary seller access and draft sessions are generally designed to expire after 14 days. Submitted records, verification snapshots and evidence may be retained for longer where needed to evaluate or manage a mandate, protect legitimate interests, maintain transaction records or comply with law. Revoking a Google connection stops future API access but does not automatically delete a verification snapshot already included in a submitted business record.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit information you are not authorised to share.
9. Your choices and rights
You may use browser settings or available blocking tools to restrict cookies and website analytics. Google connection is optional: you may upload downloaded reports instead, disconnect from the seller workspace, or revoke BrokerAccord’s access through your Google Account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of certain personal information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
BrokerAccord.com is intended for business users and is not directed to children.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service develops. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions, Google-data questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@sitetrail.com.
